William J. Murphy (born 17 May 1928) is a former Irish Labour Party politician.
He was elected as a Labour Party Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork West constituency at the 1949 by-election on 15 June.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Mr. William J. Along with former Taoiseach and Fine Gael leader Liam Cosgrave, he is one of only two surviving members of the Oireachtas to have been elected in the 1940s.
